Draught@CPH BeerFest2010. Deep ambery brown colour with small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, caramel malts, some slight ashy notes as well as some sweetness from the alcohol. Flavour is liquorice, some roasted and smoked malts as well as mild chocolate and coffee.

Sampled from tap. Pitch black. Bubbly rings on the surface. Coffee malts and hints of liquorice to the nose. Grainy chocolate malts in flavour with added notes of coffee grounds. Bittersweet tail. More or less full bodied (Copenhagen Beer Festival, 08.05.2010).

Copenhagen Beer Festival 2010 - Black in colour. Roasted aroma with fruit roasted malt. Raisains, roasted malt, coffee and plain chocolate feature in the taste.

Draught @ Olfestival Kobenhavn 2010, Carlsberg TAP1, Ny Carlsbergvej 91, Copenhagen V, Denmark.Clear dark black brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is light heavy malty, roasted, chocolate. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, dark chocolate and coffee - espresso, hops. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100506]

Draught at Copenhagen Beer Festival. Very black, miniscule head. Coffee and molasses, fairly sweet with medium-full body, well rounded mouthfeel. Some ash, syrup and coffee. Low-medium bitterness. Doesn’t take off.

From tap. Pours dark brown with a thick chocolate brown head. Aroma is light hops fruity and dark roasted malty with light coffee note. Herbal dry coffee flavoured, light toffee malty. Bitter and slight herbal flavoured with a roasted malt base. Rather dry and bitter finish. Lasting roasted malt and coffee impression.
