Cask at GBBF 2017, day 1 - London. Pours hazy amber with a light, creamy head. The nose holds toffee, berries. Medium sweet flavour with some alcohol, bread, toffee, more ripe berries. Full bodied, chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish with bready malts, yet more toffee, berries, caramel. Hearty gear. But nice and fun.

Sample from the bottle at Olutexpo 2018, Helsinki. Colour is slightly cloudy brown with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Some ripe fruits, chocolate, raisins and malts. Pretty soft.

750ml bottle @ Olutexpo. As Ghost bottle. 10.5%. Poured cola brown color. Thick off white head.Barrel notes, vanilla, plummy aroma.Flavor has barrel notes , wood, licorice. Surprisingly light for the abv. Plummy finish.

Cask at GBBF’17, day one, 08/08/17. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a decent tan cap. Nose is sweet malts, chocolate, black peppery spice, coconut shreds. Taste comprises dark fruit rinds, bourbon barrel evident, chocolate, black peppery spice, fruit loaf, more coconut. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a rising boost. Decent BA strong ... works well on cask.

Cask at The Great British Beer Festival 2017, Olympia, London. A dark brown coloured pour with a thin beige head on top. Sweet, bourbon, dark fruit, caramel, vanilla aroma. Tastes sweet, dark fruit, bourbon, caramel, vanilla. Loads going on in this one, very nice indeed.

Cask-Conditioned gravity dispense @ GBBF ’17. Pours very dark, small tan head. Aroma presents sweet, complex, overripe dark fruits, caramel, bourbon. Taste is much of the same, full-bodied with vibrant dark sweet flavours, bourbon, chocolate, toffee with a robust alcohol strength. A real sipper.

Cask at GBBF. It pours hazy mahogany brown with a small beige head. The aroma is soft, sweet, toffee, fudge, bourbon, cocoa, millionaires shortbread, honey and toasty action. The taste is slick, bitter, chewy, wood, bourbon, chewy, toffee, bourbon, touch of alcohol, wood and soft alcohol warmth with a drying finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Well rounded and quaffabme. Enjoyable.
