Wet hopped with Centennial from Locality farms

Locality X Another Beer Co Collab is now on tap at both breweries. Drop in at Langley or New West to try this West Coast Lager.

80lbs of fresh centennial and Cascade hops were picked from the hop yard (50ft away from the brewery door) by both breweries and a crew of volunteers, including our neighbours @campbeer.

The locally grown Esma Barley made a clean Pilsen malt in our on-farm malt house specially for this hop forward beer. Lager yeast was used to showcase this clean, crisp fresh beer loaded with floral notes from the fresh hop and ample dose of dry hopping with Comet and Tahoma.

This was a very special brew for us from growing, picking & harvesting our very own hops with friends & family, to sharing the brew day with our great friends over at @anotherbeerco ๐Ÿบ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿบ๐ŸŒฑ

Poured from the tap. Clear blonde gold with small white head. Intense wet green hops, almost a subtle herbal mint note (guessing this is from the saison yeast?) and some feint gooseberry. Brett not showing up yet. Okay.
