Gutes Bier.

* Old rating, best before 01.12. Leckeres frisch-herbes Bier. Lecker. --- Beer merged from original tick of Bürgerbräu Bamberg Alt Bamberger Dunkel on 22 Aug 2018 at 09:19 - Score: 6. Bottle from REWE, Buttenheim. Dark brown with reddish undertones. Brown sugar and prune aroma. Flavour was also sweet, with some added chocolate and roasted malt complexity. A bit one dimensional, but drinkable nonetheless.

Bottle @ Southern Germany. Pours dark brown with a creamy head and lacings. Chrewy malty. Vague roast, nuts, fruit, bread and caramel. Smooth and soft. Tasty and quite lovely.

Bottle looks quite simple. Beer in the glass dark, but not black, small head. Starts mild, malty-roasty, not too much. Modest smokey. Finish still mild. Could be a bit more intense.
