This is an average lager that smells of barley, some syrup, and alcohol. If poured aggressively it gives a nice head and has a decent gold colour. The flavour is a nice blend of hops & barley, with a dry finish, smooth taste & mouthfeel, but could be livelier. My preferred amongst the Tanzanian beers, but that’s not saying much.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale golden color with a white head. Has a sweetish aroma of corn and malt with some grassy hints. Sweet malty grassy flavor with some weak hints of hops. Sweet malty finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

(50 cl bottle, thanks BillieMaria!) Golden to pale color, white head. Sweet corn and malt scent, also grainy. Acidic, harsh, grainy, apple and quite a bit of puke(!) taste. Light body, low bitterness. Utterly disgusting!

330ml bottle picked up in Kenya courtesy of Garthicus! Thanks Al! Bottle says 4.8% ABV; Nose of hrain, malt, grass, and light sweetness; clear gold with a medium white head and lots of bubbles; flavor is grainy, slightly sweet, and only a tiny note of bitterness in the finish. But a new country rated none the less and yes better than Bud!

Bottle. A bit pale golden, clear beer, with a white head. Strange aroma, can’t really pin it, but there’s grain and grass as well. Grainy flavor with some hay. Thin and watery body. It is not much of a beer, but it probably quenches the thirst in the African head. Rating: 2-2-3-2-5-1.4 (070809)
Rerate. Bottle, shared by yespr. Clear, slighty pale golden, with a white head. Malty and grainy nose with some cooked vegetables and sweetness. Grainy flavor, quite sweetish, lacking hops. Thin body, and not much finish. Not too good, but guess it goes down easily at temperatures above 40C. (071005)

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Clear, pilsener golden with a neat, dense, off-white head. Fairly neutral aroma with a whiff of cardboard. Medium body with sweetish notes of malt and cardboard. A touch of hop bitterness in the finish. 051007

33 cL bottle. Pours clear pale yellow with a lacing white head. Slight cornish and grainy aroma. Flavour is grainy with a mild cornish sweet note. Has a honey like note without really giving the beer a lift.

Pale yellow color, decent white head. Metallic, ashy nose. Watery, light flavor - bottle doesn’t mention corn, but beer has corn or rice like sweetness and soem malty harshness in the finish. Below par.
