Cwrw Braf is a clean-drinking, amber-coloured ale with a light bitterness and gentle hop aroma. A session bitter yet, with all the flavours and quality you would expect from a Tomos Watkin premium ale.

Bottle@Old Cross Hotel, St Davids, Wales. Amber beer with a strongish head. The aroma is lightly roasted and toffee, and the flavour is mildly caramel and dry. Overall an average dry beer.

Thanks to Joris for hosting and world traveler Stefaan for the beer... Golden dark amber colour ... thick loose foam head ... bland nose ... light fruity malt soft ... little wattery ... little laggeryness.

Very foxy beer with a golden shine; good yellowish head, short lived. Slightly smoked, bit cookie nose, subdued. Sweet, biscuity, toasted flavours, but with an empty palate. Not light, bit empty in the palate, all the while being fizzy, slick and even oily. Sweet ale. I suppose itβs much better on cask. Thanks to Stefaan

Bottle: Orangey to amber coloured, medium sized fluffy and long lasting head; fruity (orange, citrus) and stronger aromatic hoppiness in the aroma; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, velvet MF; good bitterness and a blend of hops, malt and citrus fruit in the clean, lasting finish. Nice...........
