On tap at Takumiya, Kyoto. Pours cloudy yellow, white head. Citrus, malty, caramel, dry finish. Light to medium bodied. Maybe not the freshest one?

Cloudy pale. Crisp, grapefruit, orchard fruits, berries...nice hops, touch of good, healthy yeastiness, and a well balanced pale malt character. Big time pintable.

On tap at beer belly. Pours out a golden topped with a nice head. Nose is tropical fruit citrus pineapple mango and some sweetness. Taste is more of the sweetness tropical fruit hops.

Handpump at Gremlin. Golden yellow with no head. Light tropical fruit and grapefruit nose with some cracker like malts. Bitter and citrusy on the palate. One dimensional IPA. Butterscotch, yoghurt, estery, lemon, weird scent. Sweet, fruity, grainy taste. Fruity aftertaste. Medium to light mouthfeel, medium bitterness.3/2/5/3/9=2.2Rerate330 ml bottle thanks to Ingo! On May 18, 2014. Marked 14.08.10Clear golden color, small white head. Hoppy, fruity, fresh, sweet, passion fruit scent. Malty, herbal, bitter taste. Bitter aftertaste. Draft - Mild grapefruit. Clear gold with a thin white head. Big grapefruit and bitterness, touch of resin. A nice west coast style IPA, but nothin complex.

Draught at CBB. Golden colored. Nice grapefruit nose, catpiss, minerals. Sweet and cfreamy flavor, nice hops, grapefruit, good peppery bitterness. No caramel. Pretty good stuff.

I had wanted to try this on tap at Craft Beer Base’s IPA event in Osaka but they never got around to that keg >_< So I was happy to grab a taste at El Nubichinom in Yokohama. It is a great looking IPA with a west coast aroma profile of pine & citrus. Wow, it was quite bitter for a Japanese IPA. An astringeant mouth-puckering beer, not so balanced with mostly pine coming through. Decent on a hot day though.
