This beer is the non-alcoholic version of the Tuborg Green. The pilsner taste is a result of the fact that it is brewed as a real pilsner, where the alcohol is later removed, gently. And, as an added bonus, it’s also low in calories – with just 40% of the calories of an ordinary pilsner. The taste is light and fresh with a fine acidity. When poured in the glass, its color ranges from golden to straw yellow with a scent of cornflower.

Biggish white head. Pale yellow body with light carbonation. Milky, rubbery aroma. Grainy, rubbery watery taste with notes of rotten grass and wet sheep. Chalky, bitterish sharp mouthfeel. Aftertaste is bitter wet cardboard. Awful. (0.33l bottle.)

Bottle at "Jensens Bøfhus" in Copenhagen, Denmark. Clear golden color. White head. Malty sour scent. Almost no taste, some sweet corn and also bitter aftertaste. Almost no bitterenss. Thin body. Too sweet, I would not recommend it.

Bottled. Pale yellow with a small white head. The aroma is grainy and malty, with some grass-notes. Grainy malt-flavor with some acidity is finished off by a very light bitterness. Thin-bodied, weak-tasting beer. Maybe I’m a bit too high on the scores for aroma and flavor, but it didn’t taste that awful...(060513)

(Bottle 33 cl) Apparently Carlsberg changed the recipe on this to resemble the premium lager "Grøn Tuborg". Well, let’s just say they didn’t succeed. The colour is decently pilsener golden and the head is dense and quite stable. But the flavour.... Weird bready notes of rye bread - with liver paste. And as much as I like those flavours it’s not to be expected in a beer. Horrible. 051101
