At Copenhagen Beerfestival, on May 7, 2010Cloudy dark brown color, yellowish head. Buttery, malty, spicy taste. Buttery, acidic scent. Thiiin mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Bottle 341ml. @ home.Clear medium to dark brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, dusty, sweet malt, sweet butter, overripped red fruit, light to moderate hop flowers dusty. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, light light wood + berry acidic and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, finish flavor is cold coffee bitter. Body is light medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20100329]

Bottled. A deep red beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of butter. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of butter as well as a bit of caramel. The body is thin. My first L.A. Porter - not really a hit. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 34,1 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours dark brown with an orange hue and a small off-white head. A little roast in the nose, but also butter. Light body, again roasted malt and butter with a little vanilla. Hardly any bitterness. A very poor Porter. 230310

34.1 cL bottle. Pours clear and deep amber with a small tan head. Aroma is caramelish, roasted and slight vanilla. Caramelish, mild acidic and vanilla flavoured. Slight breadish touch too. Lingering fruity note to a dark malty base. Thin porter.

Bottle.Dark brown colour with small beige head.Aroma of chocolate and thin coffee mild and watery kind of porter with light body and thin finish.

Bottle: Poured a light black color porter with a huge light brown color head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of very light coffee notes with some black chocolate also discernable. Taste is also dominated by light dry coffee notes with some shy notes of black chocolate. Body is way too thin and watery for the style to be effective. I guess this could have been worse but this is till not something that I would pick-up again.
