Bottle at home. Aroma of malts, coffee, nuts, milk chocolate, light roast. Flavour is moderate sweet with a light bitter finish. Some coffee sour in the finish. Body is light to medium, a bit thin. Not too impressed with this one.

Draft at Beertemple. Very dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma of roast, dark chocolate, ash, overripe dark fruits, caramel and a very light touch of brett. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Opaque black (or maybe a murky, very dark brown). Thin off-white head, disappears quickly, no lacing. Peculiar aroma mixes roasted malts, light notes of chocolate and coffee and a smoked feel in the background. Taste follows the aroma, with fair intensity: sweet (oats?, chocolate) and bitter (coffee, roasted malts) are in very good balance, with again a slight smoked note showing up. Light body, very light crispness, easy and very smooth but too thin for the style in my humble opinion. Fairly good and interesting beer.

Kick 170316. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, cocoa. Flavour is sourness, roasted malt, coffee, dried fruits, caramel. Medium body. Nice beer.
