Bottiglia.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is wood, some grass, herbs, mild toasted and toffeeish notes. Flavour is quite crisp maltiness along with some wood, mild floral and grassy notes with quite much herbs to it. Nice crisp pils, which has also got a nice bitter kick to it.

Keg at Doppio Malto, Glasgow. Pours light hazy yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of corn and citrus. Taste is more of the same. A little thin maybe.

14 September 2020. At Doppio Malto, Verona. Shared with the lovely Anke! Clear golden with a lasting, thin, frothy, white head; some lacing. Aroma of breadcrust, apple peel, margarine, citrus, wheat. Taste has sweetish apple & pear, sourish wheat, bready & yeasty with a buttery accent. Grainy, grassy hoppy finish, more yeast & bread yet the is citrus still present too. Medium to light body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Acceptable Pilsner.

Keg at the brewpub - Roma. Pours clear yellow-gold with a frothy, white head. Nice biscuity aroma, a little straw. Light-medium sweet flavour with more biscuity character, lightly bitter hay, hints of dough, pale bread, lager yeast. Light bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Clean finish, lightly bitter, with more biscuits, inklings of lemon peel, more straw. Solid pils.
