Bottle at home. A nice pour and it looked inviting in the glass. There wasn't much nose and the flavour was of subdued hops and some nice balancing malt. There was subtlety here and a pleasant mouthfeel. All very pleasant.

Slightly hazy copper and amber coloured body with a nice three to four centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of rich malts, with a lot of caramel and toffee notes along with some grasses and hop bitterness along with some alcohol around. Medium-bodied; Strong herbal flavour at first with some tea-like flavours with a touch of yeast and alcohol around. Aftertaste shows more of a toffee and caramelised sugar like sweetness and a dose of lighter alpha acid hops showing some more English and earthier flavours. Overall, a decent APA (assuming that A means American), but not too great and way more Earthy than a typical APA, and shows more to me of an EPA with some pungent notes. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from Jason’s Market Place at Taipei 101 in Taipei, Taiwan on 24-July-2017 for NT$145 sampled in my hotel room here in central Taipei, Taiwan on 27-July-2017.
