(473ml can from Superette du Diner, Quebec City) Pours very hazy orange-gold with a thick white head. Aroma and flavour both dominated by notes of conifer needles, fresh cut grass, pine resins, grapefruit and orange peels, some melon, sweet brioche malt; quite sweet initially on the tongue with a lot of lactose present but firm peppery hops giving a lot of conifer and rind bitterness and moderate hop burn. Fairly dry finish is moderately bitter and sticky. Medium bodied, soft fairly creamy carbonation. A bit of an odd duck; the sweet oat cream backbone is suited to something more juicy than this very green dank peppery hop profile. Solid food beer though.
