(500ml 2019 bottle from the brewery webshop) Pours moderately hazy medium orange with a bit loose eggshell head that recedes quickly without lace. Aroma of fresh tangerine pulp and zest, soft lactic grapefruit/lemon acidity, smooth mulchy barnyard with just a little sulphur, feeling of candy sugar which I think is just the orange, a little woody structure and oaky vanilla. Flavour is lightly sweet and very lightly tart, quite mineral and crisp, with tangerine pulp sweetness and pith (with light bitterness) in the lead, lactic quench, funk is very light and restrained, maybe a little vinous with soft berry notes but the wood is also pretty restrained as well. Lightly tart tangerine sour powder candy finish, mineral crispness wipes it a bit clean though. Light to medium bodied and very highly carbonated despite pouring with a massive head; a swirl improves the mouthfeel. Not the most complex wild ale, especially on the palate, but definitely a fun one.
