Draft at Fork and Brewer, paired with Asian noodles. Hazy golden color, thick fluffy white head with giid retention and solid lacing. Aroma of stonefruit. Taste is sweet and malty with a bit of pine at the finish.

Bottle. Pours amber with light head. Aroma of caramel, light pine, dough, and malt. Flavors of malts citrus, melon, and a bit of pine. Full body for an IPA. Quite fruity overall. Very nice

Bottled. The aroma has notes of amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of hops, spices, malt, caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, spices, hops, and lemons, leading to a bitter finish.

medium amber color. Apples and oranges, soft hoppy nose. Not so American. Medium body. Dry somewhat bitter mouth. Decent, but lack malt backbone and seems more like a crowd pleaser than a pale ale that is trying to take it to the next level.

From a 500ml bottle on 3/7/2011. Pours a slightly opaque golden colour with a fine head.Has a a pleasant and quite strong aroma of lychee, citrus and pine hops. The flavours are full on with caramel, orange, grapefruit and honey. As inferred by the label, you get hops in spades, which keep you company long after you downed a sip. The only slightly confusing things is the reference to APA label, as this is much more an American style IPA. And a very good one at that.

Pours dark amber with a small lasting head.Nose shows lots of passion fruit and floral and piney resinous hops. Underneath is cookie dough, caramel and oats.Similarly hoppy flavours with loads of pine. Little supporting malt, just a hint of sweet clean malt and some oats (???). Sharp, full-on bitterness.Nice med-high carbonation.

Bottle. Clear copper with a large off white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, light caramel, nectarine, a little cleaning fluid. Taste is only slightly sweet with more fruit than caramel before piney bitterness. Aromatic bitter finish is not dry. There’s not a riot of flavours here - just a few good ones speaking out in ringing tones.
