(375ml bottle from the brewery webshop) Pours pitch black with a few tan bubbles. Aroma of coconut flakes and vanilla, some chocolate powder underneath, dark roasty malts. Flavour is almost impossibly syrupy sweet up front, coconut cream and condensed milk richness, treacle and dark syrup, chocolate, some bitter burnt coffee and cacao in the back towards the finish, almost spirit-like warmth provides additional drydown. Coconut and bittersweet chocolate aftertaste. Medium-full but very oily body with almost no carbonation. Probably the coconut is slighlty faded but still very present; I like the flavours but the condensed milk was overkill and resulted in one of the sweetest stouts I've ever had. I think just bumping the lactose and leaving it out would've given plenty of coconut cream vibe. Happy to split the small bottle.
