Super hazy golden coloured body with a nice, three centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of grass, blood oranges, bitter grapefruit, a hint of pine and a dose of noticeable malt and alcohol. Medium-bodied; Bitter blood orange, grapefruit and lime zest kick with some light herbs and dry malts noticeable throughout, all with quite a bit of an alcohol bite, some subdued grasses and hay flavours and ending with a nice and robust yeast strain flavour. Aftertaste is dry and bitter, mostly from the oranges and citrus, and a tiny bit from the hops - interesting throughout, but the bite from alcohol, bitterness and dryness are all large with absolutely no sweetness at all, but turns out that it’s okay! Overall, a nice and bitter IPA with big flavours and a rich finish, all without any sugars. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Shopper’s Food Warehouse in Alexandria, Virginia on 21-June-2017 for US$1,25 sampled at home in Washington on 27-August-2017.

12oz bottle pours a clear gold with some spitty, white head. Nose has grist, lemon peel, straw, sun tea. Flavor follows, very tannic with dandelion tea, straw, heavy lemon and white/unripened orange. Finishes bitter and tannic.

Strange hops here like meerkats. Passion fruit and lots of pine. Some astringency in finish. Bottle from mixed sixer.

12oz bottle from mix pack. Poured a hazy golden color with a small tan head. Aroma was tropical fruits, some light herbal notes, light wood. Flavor was light citrus, tropical fruits, touch of resin - but not too much. Light bitter finish.

12 ounce bottle thanks to some Viking. Slightly hazy golden amber, thin creamy tan head, decent retention. Aroma of syrupy tropical fruit, dark citrus, a bit of a woody note, juicy. The taste is juicy citrus, tropical fruit, pine. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness. Nice!

Bottle, Adventure Pack, Rio Hill Kroger. Clear gold, soft white head. Citrus and bread aroma, not strong, not overly appealing. Flavor is stronger than the nose - a good hunk of heavy citrus peel/strawberry flavor up front, strawberry jam more than actual strawberry. Finishes with some bitter lemongrass and glue. Dry and gluey.
