Hand-pulled cask ale, half-pint, shared with Finn. Next-to-clear golden body, filmy layer leaving dotted spots on the glass. Ripe citrus nose, scents of grainy malts. Assorted fruity flavours, including peaches and lemon, with mid-dry malts beneath. Mild fruity bitterness to the finish. Satisfying.
Third session at the 44th Liverpool Beer Festival, Metropolitan Cathedral Crypt.

Cask at the Pup & Duckling 9th birthday beer festival, Solihull. Poured an unclear yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is yeasty, grainy. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a smooth, somewhat light, yeasty, lemon citrus, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.
