Samuel Adams Noble Pils is one of the only brews made with all five Noble hops from the world's growing regions. its bright flavor and lively, citrus hop character reminds us that the warm days of spring are just a few weeks away.

On tap at the Red Lobster. I am not a big fan of this style. Nice head and shiney golden color. Hoppy aroma. Extremely bitter taste. Can leave it.

Great clear golden pour. Wicked aroma of great grassy German hops, and some wicked malty grains. The flavor is grassy and. Hoppy with a touch of citrus, and a great cereal, breach backbone. This is for me an ultimate patio beer, excellent stuff.

Notes from January 2011 $2.99 22oz bottle from the bodega. BB May notch. Carlsberg pils glass. A touch dirty now that I look at it. Average stereotypical golden amber beer. Lathery white head. Ugly scribble lace. Smells intensely green & peppery. Green tea & a tiny bit of rind. Biscuity. Bright. Taste is upfront with dry grain & irony spinach. Slight dank & pine. Subtly sweet cracker finish. Wow, nice & easy to associate flavors. No big complexity & yet so fulfilling. Decent carbonation. Frothy. Constant. Plush. Alcohol is upfront. Not much to say, it's a simply effective beer. A bit shocked.

Bottles and draughts back in 2011/2012, if I remember correctly.
Mostly clear, maybe a hint of chill haze. Lime-tinted bronze with a small, white head atop showing modest retention.
Nose definitely imparts the hops pretty well and they're ok, reasonably aromatic, but suffer from the general shittiness that pervades their production brewery. The beers come out muddled and lightly dirty; just heavily, heavily processed/over-produced. Soap, wet hay, acid and heavy lemon mix with heavy biscuit and light sourdough. This could have been good.
In the mouth it's the same problem every time, as mentioned in the aroma. Chalky, lightly metallic, bland and muddled with no clarity or brightness. Heavy acidity and they've obviously tossed a boatload of hops, but it comes off crude and forceful rather than aromatic and flavorful. Heavy carbonation, thick textures and basic white bread-like sweetness. Floral, perfumey, bitter and acidic on the end.

12 oz. bottle.
AROMA: Light scents of citrus and banana
APPEARANCE: Pours a light golden color with a tight, white head that dissipates quickly
TASTE: Musty and sour with a bit of bitter on the backend.
PALATE: Light-bodied with a thin texture. Carbonation is lively and the finish is on the bitter side.
OVERALL: This certainly is not another "me too" beer, as it has quite a unique flavor. However, the sour flavor definitely doesn't match the sweetish nose. With a unique flavor profile like this one, you are either going to love it or hate it. In my case, I'm not a fan.

Pours a clear gold color with a small white head and decent retention. Limited lacing. Sour-ish hoppy nose. Tastes musty and flat with a herbal hops finish. Pass.

Amber with floral aroma. Appears to be reminiscent of a typical pilsener but is somewhat on the weaker side. Not a bad beer, it has good floral notes throughout the body; however, not nearly as intense as I had anticipated.
