Bottle. Pours a clear golden that holds up a seriously good looking long lasting white head with nice retention. Floral spicy citrus hop aromas prevail. A crisp and bubbly pils with a good amount of hops and lemon that is well balanced with the malt. I seriously enjoyed this beer and am anxiously awaiting the next release.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear light gold with about a finger of white head. Aroma of citrus hops. Orange and lemon with a little grapefruit. Taste is close to the same. A little more dry than expected. Medium bodied with a somewhat slick texture. Lively carbonation and a long bitter finish. Overall, not bad. Wish I could find more of this.

Bottle. Gold with a bit of a chill haze, fading white head. Aroma is slightly grainy and honeyed with flowers, spices, some dark berries and lemon. Taste is a little grainy but quite dry with modest bitterness but plenty of spice. For me the hop aromatics are maybe a bit much for the malt and the bitterness, but it’s a fine pils (particularly given it’s only a month in date).

Pours a brilliant golden peach color with a fluffy white head that slowly dissipates to a cap but impales itself all over the sides of the glass. Smells of spice and earth, citrus, honey, a bit of sweet pilsner malt. Lots of floral hops with just enough malt to balance this one fairly well. Taste is slightly grainy with sweet malts and a punch of floral and citrus. Finishes rather dry with a lingering floral hop bitterness. Medium to high level of carbonation. There were carb streams flowing up out of my Sam Adams perfect pint glass 20 minutes after I poured this. Medium body with a watery mouthfeel. I really enjoyed this beer! Light and refreshing and quite tasty. When the weather is a little warmer I will surely be enjoying many of these.

Der Antrunk ist gelungen hofig, der Hopfen kann sich wie nach dem Geruch erwartet durchsetzen. Dazu kommt eine zugehörige Herbe, eine wie auch immer geaertete Bitterkeit fehlt aber lange Zeit. So kann sich der pure Hopfen durchsetzen, was aber einen spürbare Trockenheit zur Folge hat. Etwas harsch wirkt das Bier dadurch, deutlich getreidig, wenn auch im Hintergrund. Dezent nach Kräutern. Zum Ende bliebt die Trockenheit spürbar, der Hopfen versiegt langsam und hier ist dann auch mal die Bitterkeit erkennbar. Hopfiges Pils, das aber bitterer sein dürfte. 10/10/10/9/9/9
