The aroma is a blend of fresh grassy and floral hop and a subtly soft, caramel-tinged maltiness. The palate is a balance of gentle grainy maltiness and sprightly floral, citrusy fresh hop fruitiness. The finish is bittersweet with hints of citrus fruit weaving in and out.

Bottle from Sainsburys. Amber coloured with a short-lived white head. Slightly honeyed, sweet aroma with a hint of citrus hops. Flavour of caramel, apricots and orange, with a short dry finish. Ok.

500 ml bottle. Golden body with a medium white head. Aroma is citrus and peaches. Flavor is sweet, a bit bitter and grapefruit. Quite nice, but misses some complexity. A really wonderful flavor, but something is missing. A bit short-lived.

bottle. Golden yellow, not much froth. Fruity and malty, hints of orange and lemon. Not very hoppy, but quite full-bodied.

Bottle. Clear, golden beer with a white head. Thereโ€™s some butterscotch and citrus as well as peach and malty sweetness. Maltysweet in the mouth, followed by citric hops. Medium mouthfeel and a finish which is a bit sweet, and fades with citrusy hops. A quite nice easy-to-drink ale. (070427)

Bottle. Sour aroma when first poured but mellowed a bit with sitting with a more pleasant light malt arom. Light yellow color. High carbonation. Nice light citrus/vanilla flavor with mild bitterness. A very nice beer.

Mediumly hooped beer with a fresh aroma. Smooth enough palate but it has a bit too much of a pilsner effect to be classed as a great ale.

Golden coloured. Nice hoppy aroma, very malty. Soft mouthfeel and balanced, bitterish finish. Possibly the best British bottled golden ale I've sampled.
