Centenary Way Mild has been created to celebrate our great British beer heritage. Mild beer is one of the oldest and for many years was the most popular beer style in the country.

Brewed to a traditional recipe, Centenary Way Mild is lightly hopped and has a slight nutty flavour from the use of mild malt. Overtones of chocolate and caramel are also present with a smooth hint of sweetness.

Centenary Way Mild is brewed to reflect and commemorate the Centenary Way which runs from York to Filey through the varied landscapes of the Vales of York and Pickering, over the Howardian Hills and on to its end, where the Yorkshire Wolds roll down to the sea.

Cask, gravity at a pre-Candleford Beer Festival tasting 09.06.11 many thanks to John, Roger & all of the organisers for inviting me over Pours chestnut with a slight haze and a fast disappearing head. Simple though old fashioned tasting beer, this nutty and with some light caramel and a touch of chocolate. Not bad at all. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov13 3.1
