Bottle from Crafty Pint. Appearance - dark honey to chestnut in colour. Decent head. Nose - honey, light biscuit and lemon. Taste - big toffee note. Light citrus end. Light dry biscuit note in the background. Palate - close to medium bodied with with a sweet tangy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - decent bitter. Not sure it’s an ESB.

500ml bottle - a decent looking reddish-brown beer with a white head, hoppy nose with caramel notes. A bit sharp on the first taste, but settles down.

50cl bottile from Beer City, batch#2700, BB 10/2012.
