500ml bottle. Unfiltered orange-brown body. Creamy, steady off-white head. Not so impressive caramel aroma. A real easy going beer...I certainly wouldn’t designated this as a Marzen, maybe just as much a Heller Bock or somewhere between. A touch of vanilla, cream. Unique and tasty.

Paid $3.99 for a 500ml bottle 5.1% @ Nikki’s Liquors, Providence, R.I. Lager glass shows a golden /orange color with thin soapy head that laces. Nose is sweet grain and caramel malt. Toasted cereal and grain flavors with a creamy texture. Nice balance between bitter and sweet. Really easy to drink. Nothing complex yet I wonder why the ratings aren’t a bit higher. Sometimes it’s hard to find fresh imports, maybe that’s the reason. I enjoyed this brew.

Half liter bottle from Beer Run. Pours a nearly clear copper color with a large foamy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of toasted malts, spice, dust. The taste is earthy notes, plum, caramel, spice, faint toast. Thin-medium bodied. Weird beer.

Bottle as Lammsbrau Organic Winter Spezial from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours clear light copper with a frothy off-white head. Aroma is lightly bready with a touch of caramel. Flavor is malty, a little bit yeasty, and some, likely noble, hop. It’s a bit herbal. It’s not really dry, but it does finish bitter.

Bottle: deep golden to light amber coloured, a bit unclear, mid-sized loose off-white head; grainy-toasty nose with a light barnyardy background, supported by a certain fruitiness; light to moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; sweetish-toasty finish with a light hoppy-fruity aftertaste. Not bad....
