The fields of barley ripening in the sunshine; the hops climbing up the bines in late summer... It was sights like these that inspired Dorothy to create her Country Ale.
Made with all-natural ingredients, it’s a must for any discerning drinker who savours the summer and cares about the countryside.
This strong, full-bodied ruby ale can be enjoyed on its own or as a partner to red meat dishes, cheeses and even rich steamed puddings.

Bottle at John Bull, Aalborg. It pours a clear, dark amber body and a small, dense, off-white to beige head. The aroma is weak and caramel scented, with some roasted, coffee aromas. Full body, slightly over-carbonated. Medium dry. The flavor has coffee, dark chocolate, some dried fruits and a bitter touch. Bitter finish. Pleasant, tasteful and interesting. Would like to have more of this one. 101204

clear brown with a red hue, smooth light brown head. malty, dry caramelly, mild hoppy bitter aroma. Quite fullbodied aroma. flavor is dry hoppy, faint flowery, lots of malts, faint sweet caramel, ends deliciously bitter english style, things balance perfectly in this one. Palate sometimes gets a little watery. some of the bitter flavors almost resembles roasted grains. nice one.
