At the source. A clear reddish brown colour and a dense off white head with a small layer retention. Aroma's of dark fudge, sweet fruit. Retronasal there's dark fudge, malt, sweetness, light pear, rye bread, toast. Flavour is moderate sweet and light roasty bitter. Medium bodied. Finishes with dried fruit, light bitter.

Bottle from the Packie Dark copper color with a decent sized off white head that persists. Rich bready toasty maltiness with huge raisin and fig and an earthy spicy hop to counter. Pretty nice and I had no clue this was 9% abv.
