Can at home picked up from the brewery. A clear amber coloured pour with a small off white head. Aroma is jammy orange, marmelade, pine, jammy fruit, toasted malts. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty malts, jam on toast, some grassy pine. Good malt and hops balance. Palate is semi sweet, mellow carbonation, rounded.

Fra cask på Quantock brewery taproom, sammen med Steven: helt klar gylden med ok skum. Urter, karamell og skogaktige toner. Mild bitterhet, god ettersmak som også inneholder mersmak.

Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours a golden orange with a small white head. Thick cut chunky marmalade in the nose. Initially sweet, malty and fruity in the mouth with oranges and some grassiness. Later on some floral hops and traditional bitterness come through. Finish is dry and bitter. This is quite nice.

Pours an almost clear gold colour with a small foamy white head. A light malt, citrus and twiggy aroma. A sweet light malt taste, little caramel with a citrusy bitterness and a some grassy, twigg hop flavours in the finish. Nice.

Cask at Swan, Farnborough. Floral aroma, with a bitter citrus edge. Bright gold. Thick but frothy white head. A really hoppy bitter hit, exaggerated by the fact that I was not expecting it. Son sweetness comes through into the finish. Light bodied. Watery but has a certain slickness. Light carbonation. Long finish. Had no expectations so a pleasant surprise. A gold with an IPA streak.
