Had to laugh when my wife brought this back from Buffalo. Despite what's listed here, this is clearly marked brewed by Unibroue. It's funny how Unibroue, part of a large macrobrewery corporation, is much less present in Ontario, just one province over, than just about everywhere else. But I love their brews let's see how this one is. Pours cloudy hay-gold with a finger of sudsy off-white head. Taste is good. Moderately sweet bready malt, a touch of booze (odd for the lower %) banana esters, a little pepper. It's excellent. Unibroue does their Belgians well, and this is no exception. I'd get more, except for that whole closed boarder thingy...

750ml - turbid gold with a thick white lace - cream and full carbonation in the mouth - lightly sweet, with some soft wheat notes and a mild tart acidity that compliments the notes of apple and white grape - finishes a little tart and lightly spicy - it’s actually quite good, and a steal at 6 bucks a bottle.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy, opaque dull orange with a medium white head. Aroma is loaded with ripe fruits, champagne yeast, and candied sugar. Flavour is along the same lines, with ripe fruits, pear, champagne yeast, and candied sugar. Fruity and estery, with a finish of champagne yeast and candied sugar. A little too estery but quite pleasant.

Bottle: Poured a blonde color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet Belgian malt notes with some bready yeast and residual candi sugar notes. Taste is also a nice mix of bready yeast with some sweet Belgian malt and nice residual candi sugar notes. Body is about average for style with excellent carbonation. Another excellent beer form a style with no secret for this brewer.

Past experience has shown the Trader Joe’s beers to provide great bang for the price. Audacity is new to me, let’s try it this warm summer evening. The cork is popped (a word of caution here) and I tilt the 750 ml bottle into my Cowtown Brewing snifter. It arrives a pearly yellow body with a phenomenal snow white head. Lacing should be a definite. The scent is white grapes and lavender. A drink delivers more of the grapes, yeast, definitely some spiciness, a nice yellow fruit sweetness. Joe’s and Unibroue abides.

Bottle from Trader Joe's in Burlington, VT. Pours a hazy light-golden colour with and orange hue. Warmw-hite frothy head, good retention and thick foamy, almost creamy lacing. Sweet Belgian Ale yeast aromas with apples, spices and mild hops. Nice warming mouthfeel, but the alcohol is very well-hidden. Typical Unibroue taste with the yeast, malts and hops all well-balanced with light spices. The difference here is that it seem a little less rich as their other latest beers. So, more drinkable. Quite nice and glad to try.

Cork and caged 750ml bottle; I have had a few of the Unibroue beers for Trader Joe and have always found then great value with only one (from memory) being a bit 'iffy'. This was very good all round. Drank on 31st March 2019 at my daughters in California and shared with no one, I had it all to myself. That Unibroue yeast comes through like a runaway train in both the aroma and taste, giving the brew a Belgian like base on which they build this tasty Blonde. Light spiciness and some decent malts in the background for balance. A very nice beer indeed.

Boozy, yeasty and bready. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Sweet stone fruit, bready and a touch of booze. About what I expected from these guys.
