On tap at Peg’s Cantina. Smulls like IPA. Looks like pale lager with a somewhat creamy head. Flat and oily on the palate. IPA all the way here. Not sure what the beef is all about a specialty grain style that is pretty much like IPA. Finish, typical IPA; long bitter linger like I just chewed on green grapewfruit rinds and tarry pine cones. wew.

Overall Impression: Had this one a few time over the last few months, it's a decent rye ale, but not particularly exciting

Bottled@Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Amber colour with mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is caramel malts, fruity hops as well as some ryebread. Flavour is ryebread, grains, fruits, mild herbal notes as well as some sweetish malts. Not that exciting.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a clear golden body and a fading white head. Aroma of rye, caramel and an interesting fruity note. Taste is hoppy with some rye and alcohol. Fizzy and dry finish.

A reddish amber ale with a thick off white head. A nutty aroma, sweet and floral resinous hops. In mouth, a nutty malt with good c-hops, a bit oily, medium bodied. On tap at Blue Tusk, July 31 2009.

Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Cloudy copper colour, small head. Grapefruit aroma. Mid-sweet with clean mouthfeel, bready limp and hard crystallic malt, a bit of lemon and then a quick piney finish. More experimental than drinkable or tasty.

Had a draught pint at Sunswick tonight. Solid beer here. Of particular note was the frothy head, almost like whipped cream I thought. The nose was dominated by hops. Taste was mildly bitter. Complex without being obnoxious. Give it a whirl.

(Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, on 2009-07-28) Amber and clear. Small white head. Malts and rye bread in aroma. Full bodied and dry palate with quite low carbonation. Rye bread, malts, hops, lightly sweetness and low bitterness in taste. Rye and bitterness in aftertaste.
