Hazy amber beer. Light semi dry palate. Soft creamy malt gives way to fairly bitter hops. Unfortunately all too English in as much as the hops impart bitterness but no real flavour. Still quite a drinkable beer. Finishes semi soft.

5ocl bottle. Pours copper with steady bubbles and a good head. The nose has caramel and pine. The taste has ginger biscuits and All-bran. The palate has a medium body, a reasonable texture but the finish is a little too drying and dare I say, astringent, for my liking. Overall, I would have liked more fruitiness if this is a red ale.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops, malt, and some caramel. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of fruit as well as medium notes of straw and citrus, leading to a bitter finish.
