A deep gold session bitter, punching above its weight in flavour. Abundantly hoppy, with subtle floral and citrus aromas. A classic bitter that is both aromatic and bursting with flavour.

Cask-conditioned at the Portcullis, Bristol 20/10/09. Deep gold in colour with a decent, off-white head. sweet, caramel and marmalade aroma. Biscuity malt flavour, with fruits, a touch of earthiness and decent bitter finish. Good.

Cask at the Midland Hotel, Morecambe, Lancs - named as Midland Ale. Bright golden colour with a dense cream head; caramel malt aroma; nutty caramel flavours, not too sweet; smooth luxorious feel; good bitterness to finish. Excellent.
