Bottle shared at CBC during my birthday. Pours black-brown with a creamy, beige head. Some roast in the nose, light cocoa. Big sweet flavor, chocolate, some tangy malts, dark fruits, light earth. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Chocolate roast finish, more mild tangy dark malts, some burnt wood. Lasting cocoa. Decent.

Bottle thanks to Leighton, during his birthday celebrations. It pours jet black, with a thick light tan head. The nose is vanilla, nougat, roasted malt and toasted coconut. The taste is tangy dark fruit, raisin, plum, red grape, chocolate, toast, charcoal, roasted malt and some lingering alcohol warmth. Medium body, with low, prickly carbonation. Decent.

Big brown coarseish head. Opaque black body. Yeasty chocolate aroma with milky peppery notes. Dry-sweet alcoholic coffee and chocolate taste with sugary choke notes. Mid-to-light body. Soft fizzy mouthfeel. Sweet chocolatey coffee aftertaste with hoppy notes. Interesting and unusual, but too earthy and musty for my taste. (0.5l bottle shared by KnutAlbert.)

Bottle 50cl. @ chriso - Night of the Gaylords.Clear dark brown color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate, vanilla, dried fruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20091229]

Bottle @ Fastelavnssmagning, Ulfborg. Pours black with a small creamy head and lacings. Nose and taste is roasted and bitter coffee. Chewy and smooth. A bit of ashes and alcohol. Fine. Dry end

Bottle, 8.6%. Almost black colour. Very small light brown head. The flavour is nicely sweet with a good grassy hop and a mildly roasted finish. Sweet liquorice in the finish also.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Pours an opaque pitch black with a dense light brown head with good retention. Hard roasted malts in the nose with sweet vanilla. Solid body, low in carbonation, hard roasted malts - never burned though - sweet vanilla and dried fruits. A little malt bitter finish. Extremely pleasant. 200210
