Pint on cask at George Inn, Middlezoy, Somerset. Pours clear pale golden with a white head. Aroma: bready malts, citrus, floral, hay. Taste: light sweet, citrus, lemon, grassy hop. Light to medium body, loose carb, soft fruity finish. Not clean or crisp enough for a pilsner as advertised, not terrible though

Cask @ The Pineapple, Kentish Town, London. Golden-blonde with a small creamy head. Hoppy in the main, with a few soapy malts in its nose, and many more in its taste.

Handpull cask at the Bree Louise. Euston. Light gold with a gentle, attractive white head. Aroma is dominated by sulphur, with lemon and rocket overtones. Disappointing, although not altogether unpleasant, taste. A promising bittersweet start turns to a medicinal sour halfway through. The beer markets itself as a pilsner but it’s nothing of the sort. It’s average at best.
