Bottle 500ml. @ home.Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, hay, toasted, light to moderate hoppy, toffee notes, light butter. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20091225]

Bottle from Brewer’s Droop, Bristol. Pale gold with a slight white head. Sweet malty aroma with a hint of grapefruit. Easy drinking with doughy malts, some leafy hops and a soft finish. A bit bland.

Bottle. A real gusher, but when it settles with a hazy, orange-golden body and a small, white head. Biscuity, malty aroma with hoppy fruityness and pinecone notes. Biscuity malts in the mouth too, with some hops giving a nice bitterness, especially in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Easy to drink and quite decent, but there’s some strange bitterness in it that I’m not too fond of. (081202)

Pale and slightly hazy appearance. Initial citrusy hop aroma quickly overwhelmed by a mustiness that is also present in the flavour of the beer. Dry aftertaste.

500ml bottle from Centra Colosseum in Oslo. Slightly hazy, golden body with some white floaters on the top. Dry aroma of hay and fruit-like malts. The taste profile is grainy with bready malts and late arriving grassy hops. Dry, summer feeling. A bit feeble mouthfeel [at home, 18.12.2008].

Bottle picked up at Wareham off licence, Wareham, Dorset, 30-08-08 and consumed later that evening. Pours gold with white head, refreshing beer with a nice bitter bite, Craig’s description is spot on, so read that for more detail I’m being lazy as my notes were flimsy for this one in the fading light last night.

Bottle at home ... Nice label on the bottle so that +1 to apperance :-) ... light amber ... light mellow hop ... ligth clean and fresh light bitter hop with a dry linger ... nicely balanced and really clean and fresh... it suprised me by how much i liked it...

Medium white head does not last. Slightly hazy yellow body. Fruity caramelly aroma with bready biscuity notes. Dry fruity floral caramelly taste with dusty biscuity notes. Mild, soft, and harmonic. Some sweetness. Dry citric straw aftertaste. By no means a typical pilsener, and rather suspicuously like some bitters I’ve tasted, but still very nice. (0.5l bottle, Centra.)

500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Labeled a "Tradtional Pilsner". ABV is 4.1%. Brewed with lager malt and Caragold malt. The hops are Sovereign and Lubelski. Golden colour, decent white head. Very nice and strong aroma of honey, flowers and butterscotch. The flavour is distinctly hoppy throughout, but there is also a substantial malty sweetness. Bitter finish and aftertaste. Has the character of a well-made pilsener, but is apparently top fermented?
