After years of having the Tempelbier, an American Pale Ale, as housebeer for the bar Arendsnest in Amsterdam, it was time for a Dutch Pale Ale. The super fruity Dutch Eagle was launched in the 4 Morebeer bars as well as Bar Joost in Amsterdam on February 24th, 2017. This joyeus event was celebrated with the Fluffy Eagle as a give away to anyone who drank this beer in all the abovementioned bars.

The Dutch Eagle was brewed for the first time by Sjors (Kees) and Timothy (Morebeer).

330ml can at home on 26th November 2022 from Beer Temple, Amsterdam. Pours a hazy copper caramel malts, spices and tropical fruits in aroma. Juicy fruits, nutty malts and peel in-mouth and a rewarding tangy fruit finish. Zingy mouthfeel and a light body.

A bit too harsh and astringent, it’s okay, but oldschool and a bit harsh... nothing overtly off, just a non-likable recipe. Beertemple ams
