Before adding yeast: clear yellow body - nothing like a belgian white. With the yeast added: muddy but still very yellow for a Belgian white. Lovely off-white creamy/rocky head - nice looks. Aroma of citrus, orange - not very intense but nice. Moderately bitter, lightly citric sour flavour. Heavily carbonated. Quite ok, low bodied. Bit weak.

33cl bottle.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, pale golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Citric and lemony fruity aroma with a moderate wheat-character, a touch of bubblegum and slightly spicy notes. Slightly sweet and bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Wheaty and citric taste with mildly spicy notes of coriander; moderately dry and fruity finish with a tinge of bitterness and coriander spice. Okay. 09.I.11

Bottled. A light golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of wheat, lemon, and a bit of coriander. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of lemon and wheat as well as a subdued note of coriander, leading to a dry wheaty finish.

Bottle, 5.2%. Weak citrus aroma. Hazy yellow colour. Very small white head. The flavour also has some citrus. Hint of spice and orange peel. Low bitterness. Not so flavourful, but quite clean.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Fruity aroma with a little spice. Medium body, sweet fruit and yeast with a vague phenollic touch. Dry but not bitter finish. Very Belgian indeed. 200210

Draught Good white head over trouble orange beer. Fresh-spicy smelling, quite some citrus in the finish. Obvious coriander in the mouth, other dry spices’ flavours, fake citrus, and a touch of bog myrtle. Quite fizzy MF, bit burning finish, slick but a bit watery. OK, but very classical witbier.
