De Ranke’s take on the saison style, since 2010, with cream white, quickly opening head and misty, peach blonde colour. Aroma of bitter honey, apple, unripe peach, wild flowers. Fruity taste, light mouthfeel, becoming ever more dry and ending in a mild floral hop bitterness. Well-balanced, though I had way better beers from this brewery (so my expectations were perhaps a bit too high).

3/XII/13 - 75cl bottle from De Zytholoog / Bierloods (Maldegem) @ John's place - BB: n/a (2013-1113)

Clear orange beer, small aery white head, little stable, non adhesive. aroma: some orange peel, bit soapy, floral, honey, sweet, spicy, overripe fruits, sugary, almonds. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: bit sweet, honey, sugary, some fruits, overripe banana, bitter touch, some citrus. Aftertaste: pretty spicy, almonds, bitter touch, some banana, bit floral, soapy. Finally I was able to taste this one. Way too later of course. But I've been trying to get this bottle for a few years now. :p

75 cl bottle @ Nuetnigenough, Brussels. Rated on 18.07.2010
Aroma has rather nice hops with fruits and floral notes(!). Flavour is bitter with lots of hops, fruits, gooseberry bush and some Belgian yeast. Refreshing and good!

ChrisO ’Night Of The Gaylords’ tasting. Hazy gold beer. Dry palate, very light and airy. Yeasty floral notes with IPA level hop bitterness. Light butter! A little odd! Finishes dry with more floral bitterness.

Bottled. An unclear dark golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of fruit, malt, straw, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, spices, yeast, and caramel, leading to a dry spicy finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy opaque golden with a white head. Very fresh flowery and citrusy hop aroma. Medium body, very fresh fruitiness, a little yeast and a very solid dose of hops in the finish. Nice alright. 190511

75 cl bottle at Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Great hop aroma, citrus and pepper. Dry and fruity flavor, lemony; flavor itself is not hugely bitter but starts flowery and goes to very dry. Peppery, lingering bitterness comes at the finish and seems to last forever. Clean and light. Great, though I want to try it as fresh as possible! .
