Bottled. An amber beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of caramel and butter. The flavor is sweet with notes of butter, straw, and a bit of caramel, leading to a dry buttery finish. Not good.

Bottle, 5.4%. Buttery aroma. Almost clear dark amber colour. Very small frothy white head. The flavour has some butter. I thought this was a Dunkelweizen, but it turned out to be a Dunkel. Anyway, it is far too buttery.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear pale amber with a small rough off-white head. Very buttery nose. Medium body, butter and cinnamon?? Vague tartness underneath. Hardly any bitterness. Must be infected. 200210

Bottle: Amber coloured, no head, hazy; infected sourish-fruity nose with a hardly detectable caramelly background; light sourish-sweetish flavour, light bodied; fruity-caramelly finish with heavy sour traces of infection. This brewery seems to have pretty problems with the hygiene.........

(bottle) Hazy, amber colour with a medium-sized tanned foamy head. Sweet and moderately toasty malty nose with a touch of barnyard and subtle berry-fruity notes, showing early stages of infection. Slightly sweet and sourish flavour, light to medium bodied with a rather soft, if not flat carbonation. Slightly toasted malty taste with notes of red berries and a tinge of caramel. Sweet and slightly sourish, toast-malty finish. Despite the (obviously well-chosen) name, it´s intended to be a bottom-fermented unfiltered Dunkel (08.VIII.09).
