Tap at the brauhaus. Dark red to red brown color, average sized white to off-white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, some brown malt notes, malty bitter, slight sweet notes. Not bad.

Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Clear dark brown, small head. Toasty nose with some raisins. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfee. Toasty with notes of coffee and raisins. Low to medium bitterness.

Bottle. Murky brownish red colour, small off-white head. Aroma is caramel, some toasted tones with quite big floral and fruity tones (from yeast etc). Flavour is some strange fruity tones with some sweet malts and grains with a bit toasted tones. OK, but a bit homebrewish elements in it.

Bottle 33 cl. Comes as "Eutiner Rotbier". Pours brown - not red - with an orange hue and a small, creamy, beige head. Distinct diacetul aroma atop some caramelly malts. Medium body, slightly roasty with a hint of licorice and again a buttery edge. Bitter finish. Closer to a Brown Ale. 160125

Tap @ Brauhaus Eutin. Hazy dark brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and dark sugar. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. Too sugary. 150717

On tap at the brewpub. Dunkel orange braunes Bier mit einer geringen leicht beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch nach dunklem Malz, etwas Karamell. Geschmack sehr karamellig, leicht metallisch hopfig, unangenehm bitter.

Keg at the brewpub, 16/07/15. Rich amber with a decent light beige cap. Nose is dried fruits, caramel, red berry snap, malt. Taste comprises cake mix, toffee, bitter red berry, malt loaf. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so.

Draught @Brewpub. Deep amber, near mahogany color with a thick white head. Slightly herbal, bready aroma. Flavor has caramel, bready notes, some minerally notes and hint of metal. Does not stand out in any way.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours clear robust amber with small off-white head. Sweet aroma of caramel, with roasty and malty notes. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with pronounced notes of yeast and caramel malt. Medium body. Sweetish aftertaste. Acceptable.
