Beautiful light yellow color, fine and delicate foam, the lemony aromas of the hops give this beer its freshness and fragrance. Extremely aromatic and thirst-quenching at the same time.

Yes, in spite of France being somewhat anti-beer these microbreweries have popped up in the past 10 years, even in Île-de-France. This is a good thing; and once in awhile I come across another local brew that I have to try to see if they’re starting to compete with the proper European beer powerhouses of Belgium, Germany, and the UK. Pours foggy yellow with plenty of head, not quite solid, but good. Looking quite appealing. Aroma is caramel and syrup, very heavy on the nose, very sweet, slight grassiness. Taste is barley and malts, very un-blonde-like, but refreshing and slightly tart on the finish. This one grows on you, closer to a dark beer, but still quite nice and satisfying.

Tasting at Papsø’s
Cloudy blond color. Aroma of cereals and honey, sweet and quite pleasant. Very low carbonation (this beer would be better with some more), sweetish cereals flavor; correct bitterness, lightly fruity. Delicate beer, if it was not for the carbonation it would be quite good.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has dusty hops, metal, and some malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of honey, metal, and malt, leading to a dry finish. The body is light. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear golden with a tiny, rough white head. Medium body, almost flat, sweet malty and fruity. Subdued bitterness. I think this bottle wasn’t fresh or has had a slight leak. 110110
