Bottle at Chriso Gaylord tasting 09. After a couple of Cigar City beers and the Black Tuesday, what we really needed was a shit lager in a can. And that’s what we got. Clear gold colour, lasting beige head. It’s ok, some hop, some malt. Bit sickly on the malts and ultimately not very good.

(Can 44 cl) Courtesy of yngwie. Slightly cloudy, deep golden with a dense and lasting off-white head. Aroma of malt - and a little butter. Medium-bodied, malty with a touch of metal and caramel. The finish is surprisingly hoppy. 111107

500 ml bottle. Clear golden body with a medium light orange head. Pleasant gently malt and hop aroma, British style. A floral hop character appears in the aftertaste together with some metallic flavor. A quite light ale, but pretty well composed. Mack is the most innovative macro brewery in Norway.

Canned, thanks Rune! Clear deep golden, faint head. Flowery nose that turns into resin and metal. Medium sweet and medium bodied with raw and aggresive mouthfeel. Some buttery malt doesn’t help all that much. Harsh and industrial with metallic finish.

[At RBESG 2006] An orange beer with a light orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with a light touch of butter - and so is the flavor.

RBESG 2006 Grand Tasting. 44 cl can. Golden colour, moderate head. Butterscotch (diacetyl) aroma, quite nice. Flavour is bland and boring with some butterscotch notes, very moderate hops in the finish.

Canned. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma of rubber and malts. Flavour of diacetyl, some caramel, fruits and hops. And metallic. Not any aftertaste and goes flat in finish. Not very pleasant.
