12 oz. bottle. $1.50 single @ Binny’s. No doubt there, a big tangerine nose just from my opening the cap. Poured straight into my 312 glass, it kicks up half a glass of bubbly foam over a hazy gold beer with orange in the thick parts. So I really liked the tangerine smell. But once I taste it, meh. I;m suddenly reminded of the little crates of Cuties we get when they’re season, the last one of which goes to rot because everyone’s tired of eating them, or they’re too firm of not juicy enough for the kids. Every time I sip it, I’m looking a rating tick that I can lower. It may be age. I’ve had problems with "off" bottles of Lost Coast before, which got better if I gave them another try later.

Smells yummy. Taste is like most tangerines, dull and soft bitter pulpy. Good co2, some sizzliness. Gunk on bottom of bottle, little chunks of what must be tangerine. Artificial slightly, at times. Better than expected. Certainly can tell its a wheet, not a wheat ale; has some hefe attributes.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a murky bright orange color with a small white head that faded. The aroma was strong tangerine and sugar though a bit artifical. The flavor was tart and sugary with a strong orange soad element and light notes of must and wheat. The finsihw as long, tart and full of tangerine. Medium body. Decent.

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market, Charlottesville, VA. Pours a hazy orange color with a minimal head. Fair head retention and lacing. Not a "hint" of tangerine in the aroma as the commercial description suggest, but the aroma is dominated by citrus. There is not much else there. The taste is dry orange soda with a very faint wheat character that gives way to more citrus. Thin bodied. This is a citrus bomb through and through with not much other character.

12 oz bottle into snifter. Pours a hazy orange with a medium dissipating head that leaves a small collar. Very aromatic; very strong freshly picked tangerine aroma, along with the wheat; nice. Taste is mostly sweet with a hint of tartness. Like biting into a fresh tangerine; I can also taste the rind. Carbonation is high, body is thin and watery. I could easily chug this stuff. Perfect summertime beer (too bad it’s October).

Sampled at Great Lakes Brew Fest in Racine, WI. Horrible, soapy beer. Avoid.

Delightful creamsicle parfait aroma, with lemon hints. Cloudy golden, floaties, thin head. Dry, overripe fruit, somewhat stale malt flavor. Orange peel finish. The flavor doesn’t measure up to the lofty expectations set by the bouquet. Even so, it’s not a bad beer.

Bottle thanks to drowland. Pours cloudy orange. No head. Nose is heavy orange rind and peeled tangerine with rind off, but skin still on. I get the same in the taste. Initially it tastes like a tangerine with skin on, but rind off and finishes with a semi-dry rind finish.

Bottle. Poured tangerine orange with thin fast dissipating white head. Ful aroma of tangerine and a little yeastiness. Citrusy flavour, more tangerine and a bit of something that resembled blood orange. Rather thin finish.
