Pale Sour Ale Aged in Wine Barrels with Raspberries and Merlot Grapes Added
To create this beer we added particularly raspberry-forward Livermore Valley Merlot grape must to a young red sour and actual raspberries to an older golden sour for additional oakiness. The combination is vibrant in terms of flavor, aroma, even color. We'd suggest drinking it soon if you want to really enjoy the raspberry, or cellaring if you'd prefer the winegrapes to be more prominent.
