Bottle 500ml as "Børglum Kloster Abbedens Dubbel" @ home
Pours hazy deep amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, dried fruits and hint of alcohol. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long malty, caramel and dried fruity finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle (label Børglum Kloster Abbedens Dubbel") from BarleyWine, CPH - dark reddish brown pour with almost no head at all. Sweet fruity and malty number, sweet yeasty, some dried fruit, caramel, slight spice. Ok.

Som Børglum Kloster Abbedens Dubbel, flaske delt med Ovesen en vakker høstsøndag med aktivitetsdag på Holmen: en meget bra dubbel i typeriktig stil&smak. Saftig, og med lang ettersmak. En behagelig overraskelse som gjør at jeg vil prøve flere fra Søgaard.

Bottle as "Børglum Kloster Abbedens Dubbel", 7.9%. Dark brown with tiny beige head. Aroma is malt, caramel, yeast, dark fruits and chocolate. Flavour is malt, yeast, caramel, dark fruits, chocolate, medium sweet and a little bitter.

Bottle @ Home. Pours hazy light brown, no head. Aroma of malt, biscuits, sweet dark fruit. Taste is malt, biscuits, sweet fruit, plums, apricot. Medium body, low carbonation. Taste like its overaged, but its not looking at the BBD. 061010

Draught at the brewey.Deep brownish colour with medium head.Aroma is spicey and malty with flavor of caramel and sugar nice well balanced beer with low carbonation and nutty finish.

As Børglum Kloster Abbedens Dubbel. Hazy orange with a white head. Aroma is sweet malty, dried fruit, yeasty and alcoholic. Flavor is rather sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish with warming alcohol. Almost like a mild barley wine. 110311

Bottled. Amber colour with mediumsized fluffy slightly off-white head which leaves some slight lace. Aroma is caramel malty, nuttyness, some dark dry fruits, burnt sugar as well as some slight sap as well. Flavour is sweet malts, some dark dry fruits, mild raisins, some spices, mild wood as well as some dark dry fruits. Smooth.

Bottle 500ml. @ home. [ As Børglum Kloster Abbedens Dubbel ]. Clear medium amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, mazipan mass, dark berry, brown sugar, dark honey, toffee notes, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, spicy, caramel. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20091105]
