bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma beige fine media persistenza, colore mogano/ambrato velato, in bocca e al naso caramello zucchero di canna frutta matura, corpo medio, carbonazione legera, dolce con amaro medio. Si sente un po' troppo l'alcool. 07.07.18

Bottle, as Ørbæk Double Bock Beer Økologisk, ABV 7.8%. Pours hazy full amber with airy but stable light beige head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel, and dried fruit. Sweetish, malty taste with notes of caramel, fruity touches and a hint of roast towards the finish. Discernible alcohol presence, making the beer rather heavy and giving boozy bubbles in the nose. Bittersweet aftertaste. OK, well-balanced and drinkable.

500 ml bottle, as Ørbæk Double Bock Beer Extra Strong, bought in Denmark. ABV is 7.8%. Økologisk / organic. Hazy brown colour, large off-white head. Strong sweetish aroma of malts, caramel, molasses, brown bread and alcohol. The flavour is medium sweet, with the same elements as in the aroma. Very moderate hops. Not a very refined character, coarse and fairly simple. I’ve had worse though, clearly a drinkable beer..

Ravfarvet øl, med eggefarvet skum som la seg fort. Karamelllukt og maltlukt. Karamellsmaken kommer også frem i smaken. God bitterhet i ettersmaken.

50 cl. bottle poured in to a snifter. Amber colour with a thin, off-white head. A golden tint. Sweet aroma with caramel and bread malts, ripe fruits, a hint of alcohol. Taste is medium sweet. Medium body, creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes sweet with toasted malts, nuts, caramel and a slight alcohol burn. Okay for a bock beer.

Bottle, at Ølfestival 2011. A clear, amber colored body is topped by a small, off-white head. Malty sweetness and tropical fruits on the nose, a good dash of apricot too. Sugary and fruity flavor with caramel and a hint of bitterness. Smooth, medium to full body. Sweet finish with a distinct taste of pale malts. Well, not bad at all, but a tad too sweet. 110527
