A lime, hibiscus and chilli gose brewed with Casita Cerveceria as part of the 2017 Rainbow Project, inspired by the colour red. Pouring a vibrant red, this michelada influenced gose has rich, savoury, sweet, chocolate flavours from a wide variety of dried chillies, tamarind, and cinnamon, accentuated by the bright tart flavours of hibiscus and lime. A subtle complexity of flavours followed up by refreshing tastes from the aguas de tamarindo, Jamaica, limón, and horchata.

Tap. Hazy amber-red color with white head. Aroma is cherries, berries, fresh. Taste is berries, chili flesh, quite tart. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Strange but tasty

Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head, nice hazy red-orangy color. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, soda powder, flowers, sour red berries, grass, spices, cherry stones, berry skin, lime peel. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish floral, soda powder, flowers, cherry stones, hay, minerals, spices, grass, cinnamon, mild grassy chili, lime peel, sorrel. Medium bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish fruity mouthfeel with a tiny mild chili sting. Nice.

Sample at MBCC 2018. Poured a slightly hazy reddish orange colour with a bubbly round pink head. The aroma is yeast, lime, citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate sour with a fresh, crisp, citrus fruit palate. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation.

THT May - Kermis Leaving. Shared from can. Clear red with thin head. Sweet raspberries and sour lime, malts, cubanisto or desperados but then more expensive. Moderate sweet and sour and a bit of peppers burning in the finish. Medium body and soft carbonation.

Bottle shared at Kermis’ last THT. Slight hazy dark pink with short lasting fizzy off white head. Lime, light salty tequila lime stuff, Desperados, soft sweet chemical lime and cherry. Medium sour, light salty. Light bodied. Like sour Desperados. Meh.

Blik gedeeld met Roelzie1986. Het is een helder rood bier met weinig schuim. Het heeft een zurig, fruitig en wrang. De smaak begint fruitig, zoet zuur met kort daarna een chilipeper smaak erdoor, welke blijft hangen in de afdronk.

330 ml. can @ Beerlovers Bar. Outside all categories beer with no beer qualities. Reminiscent of their Cherry Cola Vice beer, this is some kind of brilliant alcoholic lemonade. Zero beer qualities. Bright red ruby lemonade with no head. Nose is cinnamon, candy, lemonade, artificial cherry, Cherry Coca-Cola,… I can make out the tasty cinnamon but otherwise its Cherry Coca-Cola, dash of Dr. Pepper, gelatine candy, lemonade, frutella, etc. Nothing Gose or beer about this one but a very tasty lemonade all the same.
