Tasting at Papsoe
Hazy dark amber color. At first there is a nice citrusy hop aroma, strong, getting milder. Good caramel flavor, quite dry, with a very stong hopping, a bit resiny and with strong fruity character (grapefruit…). A bit unprofessional, but I like hop juices.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Myrup. Very cloudy amber golden with a rough, off-white head. Fat, peachy hop aroma. Quite full-bodied with some burned caramel and distinct peach accents. Quite a bitter finish. A solid effort. 311008

Bottled@Timo A tasting. (thanks thewolf). Hazy reddish pale nutbrown colour, mediumsized slightly off-white head. Aroma is licorice, zest, leather and some herbal notes. As it warms a bit it turns into quite strong anise. Flavour is hops, some yeast and quite fruity and wooden in the aftertaste.

(Bottled). Thanks oh6gdx. Reddish, clear color, small white head. Leathery, sweet hoppy aroma. Licorice and alcohol, salty. Brew has a good hop profile, and it is very balanced and tasty. So far the best one from Kolding Bryglaug.

Angry fist of Santa tasting at Chris_o’s. Cloudy amber. Thin lasting beige head. Lovely hop aroma. Grapefruit and water melon. Good and thick and syrupy in the mouth, like liquid hops. Terrific. Just a lovely beer. Decent malts. Great hoppy finish. Sweetish.

Draft. A hazy amber beer with a thick orangey head. The aroma is sweet with notes of citrus, caramel, and elderflowers. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, citrus, over ripe fruits, and light notes of licorice, with an OK body from the alcohol, that lingers in the back ground. The finish is OK bitter. I think Barley Wine when I drink it.

From tap at YNWA. Pours deep orange and hazy with a dense creamy and slight off-white head. Dense fruity hoppy aroma with solid caramel nose. Flavour is initially solid hoppy and fruity followed by a nice liqourice touch and mild spice note. Solid caramel malt base. Delicate sweetness and solid caramel malt into a slowly increasing dry and liqourice finish. Great. Lasting bitterness into the far finish yet with a mild citrusy hops accent reappearing.
