Backlog November 2012. Bottle labelled High Five Holsterbro, but as far as I can see this is probably an alias with a different label made for the shop. Unclear golden body under a small white head. Spicy aroma with herbs and hint of berries. Taste is light malty as well with Christmas spices and a herbal touch. Medium body and spicy aftertaste. Decent. quite straight forward spicy beer. Aroma was the best part.

Bottled, thanks fonefan! Hazy browinish amber, mid sized head. Buttery caramel aroma. Very sweet with light body and clean mouthfeel. Sugar and ash, loads of butter and butterscotch. Salty bitterish finish. Unpleasant flavours and hard mouthfeel. Not a lot of positive things to say I’m afraid.

Smallish beige head. Deep reddish brown body with light carbonation. Wooden sugary fruity aroma with spicy notes. Dry-sweetish wooden lacquer caramel taste with strong spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry roasty strongly spicy aftertaste with wooden cinnamon notes. Quite bitter. Too sharply spicy, and not harmonic enough. No actual off-tastes, though. (0.33l bottle, Kvickly, Ebeltoft.)
