On tap at Apollo brewpub. Black colour, light beige head. Aroma of chocolate and mint, typical After Eight aroma. Flavour is the same, After Eight. Medium bodied. A one trick pony. Not bad if you like After Eight. Not as sweet as you’d expect btw.

Fra fat på bryggeripuben 4 Nov 11. Kullsort. OK farget skum som varer. Fester seg til glasset. God aroma: Nøyaktig som After Eight: Sjokolade & mint. Smaken det samme - men med en antydning av bitterhet i avslutninga. Kuriøs. Egner seg kun som dessert, men da kan en like gjerne kjøpe sjokoladen.

Tap, 250ml at the brewpub. Lasting, tan-coloured head. Fragile lace to the glass. Pitch black body. Just right; this is like smelling and drinking the chocolate called called After Eight. A mix of chocolate malts, peppermint and candy sweetness on a slightly roasted background.. A lightly touch of bitter hops to the ending. Very easy to drink. On the sweet side, but quite alright (01.11.2011).

Very dark brown with a small off-white head. Roasted malt aroma with licorice and a fruity touch. Sweet licorice flavour with a faint herbal note that might be the mint... it’s certainly not overdone

Draft. An opaque black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of pebermint as well as lighter notes of roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of pebermint, but also lighter notes of roasted malt and chocolate. A bit too much for me.
