Bottle. Weak vegetable aroma. Almost clear golden colour. Very sweet and sugary flavour. Low bitterness. Aspartame driness in the finish, but it could be worse.

(Bottle 33 cl) When brewery "Biertoren" ceased to exist in 1993 Huyghe took over quite a few of the Biertoren range of beers - this is one of them. A "Tafelbier" - a light table beer. Pale golden with a small, white head. Hits you with a chocking, artificial sweetness from the added saccharine. Only barely drinkable. Belgian Tabelbiers can be a pleasant experince, but not this one. 060398
